Medical-Grade Electropolishing
for Prototypes
Mirror-smooth surfaces that resist contamination, improve corrosion performance — delivered in days, not weeks.

At DEK, we provide precision electropolishing to give your CNC-machined medical components a flawless,
medical-grade finish.
This advanced electrochemical process smooths surfaces at the microscopic level, removes contaminants, and
enhances corrosion resistance — delivering parts that meet the strictest industry standards for cleanliness
and performance.
Whether for surgical tools, implant prototypes, or high-precision medical devices, our electropolishing
service ensures superior quality and reliability.

The CNC-machined part is submerged in a special acidic electrolyte solution.
The part becomes the anode (positive) and a cathode (negative) is placed nearby; DC current removes microscopic surface peaks.
High points dissolve faster than low points, leaving a smooth, bright finish while forming a corrosion-resistant oxide layer.
